‘FIESTA DE LA PRIMAVERA’ – The Pazific and Correo Aereo Bring in Spring at the Fremont Abbey

Seattle, WA – On Friday, April 6, the Fremont Abbey will host an all-ages celebration of the return of spring, featuring Seattle bands The Pazific and Correo Aereo. Warm-weather Latin, Caribbean, and world music will transport the audience to a tropical dance floor and get them moving.

Together, The Pazific and Correo Aereo plan to celebrate this ‘Fiesta de la Primavera’ with a diverse cast of musicians including sizzling horns, spicy percussion and soaring vocals. Not-to-be-missed special musical guests and collaborations are also on tap for the evening.

In addition to the music, to help spread the bounty of spring and feeling of coming abundance, there will also be a bin to collect non-perishable food items for donation to local food banks.

About the Music and Venue The Pazific (pronounced just like the Pacific Ocean) is a nomadic musical collective led by Seattle-based duo Alex and Jefferson Rose. Their debut release, The Fusión EP, is a wave of Seattle sound, blending the spirit of the West Coast with inspiration from around the world. With songs in English and Spanish, The Pazific’s Latin pop, soul, and surf sounds hit home, while their nomadic influences take you on unexpected journeys. The Fusión EP also offers a taste of what The Pazific brings to their live shows, where they engage and entertain the audience with a hard-hitting 8-piece band.

Correo Aereo (Air Mail) is an award winning acoustic multi-instrumental and vocal Latin/World Music trio. They perform traditional music of Latin America – especially of Venezuela, Argentina and Mexico – as well as their own original music deeply inspired by swimming and playing in these ancient rivers of traditions while being alive to organic innovation.

The Fremont Abbey’s mission is to curate welcoming arts & cultural experiences where people of all ages and incomes can explore creativity, enjoy beauty, grow empathy and increase awareness.
